I need to know wich reapair book is better?? Chilton or Haynes Repair manual?

i need to get a book to do some work on my 01 mustang but i came up on a answer here that that said haynes are better then Chilton...i always thought Chilton was top of the line...does it matter?? is chilton better for some models and Haynes for the others?? or is it just a matter of preference and brand loyalty?? for example some like Nike better then Reebok but it dont mean nike is Better...I need to know wich reapair book is better?? Chilton or Haynes Repair manual?
Both of those are pretty good. Really, either one is fine. But, if you want the same thing the dealers have, you can get the real thing on-line from Alldata. It is awesome. It has the exact diagnoses strategies that the dealers use from a to z. It costs about $30 for one year, renewable at $20 or so. They have all the computer codes, everything. I have been using it for about 5 years for my 1997 mustang. You can check it out at:

it just depends on what car, chilton seems to a little bit better for some models. I've got a haynes for my Jaguar and it works fine for me
i like chilton...haynes is the publisher of chilton [i have both sitting here as i speak.]..haynes seems more british in its wording and manner...either is well worth having...best 15 dollars spent.I need to know wich reapair book is better?? Chilton or Haynes Repair manual?
CHILTON recommended by all dealerships and used car departments
