So I just want to look in my Haynes Repair Manual, but can't find it? Maybe look at %26gt;not sure of correct name...Chilton's Repair on line? Please if you know anything, I would really appreciate it!
...............=)........=}What category does a Head Gasket go under?
It's in the engine overhaul section. To order one or see what they look like go to: partstrain.com, autopartswarehouse.com, autopartsgiant.com and rock auto.com. Fords are very prone to blown head-gaskets as there are only four head bolts around each cylinder instead of Chevrolet's five and six depending on engines.
it's very involved so i hope you have all the right tools. is it a v6? the v6 will have 2 headgaskets and is even more of a headache. 4 cylinders are much easier.
youtube has videos that can help you but its handy to have the chilton/haynes/service manual beside you when you are doing the job. you need to torque the heads to specific specs and put the engine in tdc top dead center. if that is beyond what you know then consider a mechanic friend to help or let a shop do it

That's the correct name. Look in Engine category. Should be in Index. Look for Head. Cylinders, Valves, etc.
The head(s) is bolted to the engine w/ the head gasket placed inbetween.
Googling will get you many hits n images.
look in the haynes book at chapter 2, part B in general engine overhaul. What category does a Head Gasket go under?
It is going to be in the part where it talks about overhauling the motor. I think its chapter 2.
