haynes repair manual indicates 159. Is this correct?What is the torque for the crankshaft pulley bolt for a 1992 honda accord lx?
159 ft-lbs it is... the Helm manual agrees. The threads are to be oiled but not the part that contacts the washer.
Getting it that tight without an impact driver (which makes torque measurement difficult anyway) normally requires a pulley holder. Check out the first source for details and ideas.
