Haynes manual for the V70
I have just bought a Volvo V70 AWD Turbo reg '51' 2435cc AWD Turbo.
I believe Haynes did not make a repair manual for that particular version of the V70.
Are there many common things between the Volvo V70 Turbo AWD and the standard 2435 cc non turbo V70 ?
If so could I buyy and use the Haynes manual for the std non AWD Turbo V70 of the same time period ?
I mean things like for example:
Brake pads, and shoes replacement - Discs brakes replacement, Radiator replacement. General service including spark plugs (type, correct gap setting), cambelt
replacement. That sort of thing, things like those and of course I would never want to tackle the AWD double axle and the turbo and engine, not even a clutch
change on a car that size (and (FWD too adds to the complexity of a clutch change).
I do have the necessary knowledge of mechanics, having changed/fitted a new engine to a Ford and and have changed complete clutch assembly several times
already on different Fords (clutch cover/spigot bearing and plate).
Question:
(1) Could I buy a manual for the non Turbo non AWD version of the V70 (for the same period, of course) ?
(2) o9 you know if Haynes made/make a workshop manual for the 2435 T AWD ? They might have produced one but I don't know
Any information and help will be extremely welcome
Thank you in advance.Volvo V70 Haynes repair manual?
first off yes the manual in question will have the pertinent information necessary for your car's major systems less the A.W.D.
if a non turbo A.W.D. manual is available for the same model years then i would purchase that as well.
if you find a listing for X.C.-70 this is the manual you would want although it would contain left hand drive information.
side note i really miss the cut-away illustrations of TERRY DAVEY. these drawing's are true works of art that for me rival any of the so called masters works.Volvo V70 Haynes repair manual?
If you would want to really have something in between regarding this one, I'm sure that some good resources would have been a good key in your manual hunting. May it be a Chilton or Haynes, the first thing that you need to do first is to really research if there are resources that are the same in the net. Then the rest will follow up if you would be able to really make things work out for your vehicle.
