Are there any online vehicle repair mainuals? My haynes book doesnt have good pics hard to follow.?

Trying to replace the water pump on my 99 Grand Cherokee laredo with a 4L in line 6. The Haynes repair manual does not have pictures specific to my model, wich is making it very difficult to follow. Are there any online vehicle repair mainuals? My haynes book doesnt have good pics hard to follow.?
By far Chiltons is the best manual you'll lay your hand on short of the actual service manual. But if you want an online source goto www.autozone.com

They have all the Chiltons manuals scanned and plenty of usefule info.

BTW to remove the pump:

Drain the coolant (petcock on bottom of rad)

remove the fan shroud

remove the fan

remove the serpintine belt

remove the pully

remove all hoses from the pump

remove the pump

(you might have to loosen the P/S bracket)

Installation is the reverse order with alot of common sense applied.

I hope this helps.
go to local library they should have Chilton manualsAre there any online vehicle repair mainuals? My haynes book doesnt have good pics hard to follow.?
Try a Chilton's! Water pumps aren't rocket science! Remove the hoses and row of bolts and the thing comes right off! Scrap the gasket, install another gasket, put the new pump on and reverse steps. Pretty simple!
chiltons, this motor was in ramblers so the pump is no big deal those books kinda suck, show you how to rebuild the motor but little stuff like this is not there. keep on jeepin !Are there any online vehicle repair mainuals? My haynes book doesnt have good pics hard to follow.?
Chilton books, there should be holes in the pulley that you stick a socket through to get too. Its kind of a pain sometimes, but thats how you do it.
you can find cds of most manuals on Ebay :)
Go to autozone.com or oreillys.com and register.(all free) and look around. They offer step by step instructions on just about anything needing to be replaced. I just did a water pump myself following autozones directions. We novices need the security of step by step. Good luck.
Hanes are the worst.if you want direct and correct information, try manufacture manual.it is the cheapest way. others like alldata or motor,or mitchell demand, you will have to pay a large fees such *** 2268.00 from alldata for one year.
I would gather you are replacing the pump. If so go to store and get rebuilt one. If not replacing, go to store and ask to look at new pump.

I think you will see a small flange on front of pump with four bolt holes in it.

You should be able to see on the back of your pulley the small flange mentioned above. It is probably rusted and may look like part of the pulley. Insert a sharp tool at the point where the flange and pulley meet and carefully work the pulley off by working the tool, with a small hammer, into the connection.

It is not prudent to use a puller as the pulley is probably made of thin material.

It may come off by tapping carefully on the pully itself. Don't hit the outer rim but reach behind as much as possible so as not to bend the rim
