Should I wear my military dress uniform to a job interview?

I have a couple of electronics job interviews and wonder if I should wear my military dress uniform. Trops, bravos or some dress clothes.Should I wear my military dress uniform to a job interview? All services' uniform regulations forbid the wear of the uniform to further one's private business or employment interests. It's also against the Joint Ethics Regulation.

You're going as yourself, not as Sergeant or Petty Officer Whomever. Wear a civilian suit.Should I wear my military dress uniform to a job interview?
No, wear a suit. When you interview you should try to match the environment.Should I wear my military dress uniform to a job interview? If your interviewer is a female, then YES!
No you can not do that. What the hell is wrong with you?Should I wear my military dress uniform to a job interview?noShould I wear my military dress uniform to a job interview?
dress for the job you want, not the job you have- so no.
are you still in the military? if so then hell yeah! if not then hell no!Should I wear my military dress uniform to a job interview?
If it is not a military job, then do not wear the uniform. As a recruiter, I know that some employers have concerns that former military might have issues adjusting to a non-military workplace culture. (Personally, I feel that the military experience is an asset--I feel it is more likely that they are timely and reliable).

If you wear the uniform to a non-military interview, they might think that you're having trouble letting go of the military.

I'd wear dress slacks and a dress shirt. Maybe a tie....
yup i heard your not aloud to wear your uniform in public or youll get in trouble
Don't wear the uniform. What you wear should be suited to the type of job you are seeking. Don't wear a uniform, don't over dress, and good luck!
If you are no longer in the military it would be inappropriate to wear your uniform under those circumstances. To a military type gathering (VFW or funeral of a fellow soldier) then yes, job interview no.
yeah, that would be totally creepy.
Nope...your resume should list your military experience
if you think it will help get the job, why not?

just be prepared for dumb political questions

I CHANGE MY ANSWER, GO WITH BILL'S BELOW.
If it has nothing to do with your military services then no. I would just wear a your typical business suit. They will see and note your military skills and knowledge in your resume
