What is jumped timing? Does it mean the crankshaft sprocket and camshaft sprockets may have moved a couple of timing belt teeth? The car has 82,000 miles and never had timing belt replace...The car runs rough...changed spark plugs...plug wires...air filter...basic maintenance...
HOW HARD IS REALLY to replace a timing belt? I have a haynes manual...but how HARD IS IT REALLY? Set piston one at TDC...align crankshaft and camshaft marks to timing belt marks...it sounds easy....is it? Im trying to do some mechanic repairs on my own and need some good advice from the pros!

you can do it . just keep reading the directions and ask yourself am i understanding what im reading. take it slow and understand what there talking about before going on to the next step
