Join the Reserves or Guard of some branch or another. That way you can work towards earning your nursing degree while you serve part time. Once you become a full nurse, you can go Active Duty if you want. If you go Active Duty first, you won't have much time for college courses. You might get through a few, and you can always use the GI Bill after serving three or four years on Active Duty. You can get there, it's just a slower path. What is the best military branch to join for a high school gradute who want to become a nurse?None, the military does not train people to be Nurses.
