A question about Ford taurus overheating problem, pics included, please help!?

It is a ford taurus 1996 good car runs smoothly but overheats in city traffic and red lights,it does not overheat when driving 60 or 70 miles in the highway. When overheats if i turn the AC on the needle in the temperature gauge goes down very quickly,so i guess because the cooling fan gets some "help" from the AC fan to cool the engine,i went to the auto parts store to buy the Haynes Repair Manual for this vehicle and it says that "the fan relays are in the constant control relay module (CCRM) along with the fuel pump and air conditioning relays,I found the CCRM(pics included)but i can not open it,i tried in many ways but it seems impossible to open it,as far as i know the fan relays are in this module and i want to replace this relays.

In my pic i show point A and B where i tried to open it but i couldn't and point C where i was able to open it but i just found a bunch of electrical wires that's it.I recently replaced the thermostat, radiator and water pump and this did not help the overheating.

Any comments, suggestions are very welcome, thanks for your time

Here are the pics of the module:

By the way the name of this 4 relays are:

electric cooling fan power(low) 2 of them

electric cooling fan power (high) 2 of themA question about Ford taurus overheating problem, pics included, please help!?
There is a switch that turns the fan on at about 220f. some are in the rad tank, others in hose, or "stat" housing. Your manual should show it. (not temp. sender)A question about Ford taurus overheating problem, pics included, please help!?
The relays are in a fuse box somewhere in the engine compartment. As for it over heating a coolant flush is recommended for high mile vehicles.A question about Ford taurus overheating problem, pics included, please help!?
Believe it or not the radiator is clogged also is better to replace the thermistor you need a new radiator
first off, you are close but that is not where the relays are. there is another electrical box with snap hooks on each end. push the hooks to remove the top cover. you will see the relays and there is a diagram on the inside of the top cover that tells you what the relays are %26amp; location. replace the ones you want and replace cover. Another thought for you. crank and let it get warm, does the cooling fans work? when you replaced the thermostat, did you reinstall it correctly? they only go 1 way. and did you check to make sure it worked properly before installing it? also could be a bad temperature sensor too.
