Timing belt ford escort 1994 1.9?

My timing belt broke when i was driving 70 mph,luckily it has a non interference engine.Do i have to reset the timing or just put a new timing belt?.I owe a haynes repair manual but it does not say what to do after a timing belt broke while driving .what should i do?Timing belt ford escort 1994 1.9?

Your Engine May be JUNK if it is a interference fit engine, First your Valves will be bent,Second your pistions maybe be cracked. If that is not the case aline the timing marks put your new belt on the your done
