We have gotten the car jacked up, the front wheels off, and we are trying to expose the transmission now. In the bible for this car, the Haynes Repair Manual for Acura Integra's and Legend's, it tells us we need to remove the axle bolt on the driver's side of the car. however, we have broken TWO bars to get this bolt off that had a lifetime warranty. obviously something is wrong. we did not find a lock on the bolt, and wd40 and lubricant did not help in loosening it. Is there a way to get this transmission out WITHOUT having to remove this bolt. thank you in advance!How do you change a transmission on a 1990 Acura Legend L?
no you have to remove them and alot of others,not an easy job on jack stands nor is it easy on a lift. honda/acura tech.
