Thank You For Reading And Any Help Would Be Great
Sincerely,

Since you are replacing the long block, most of the critical torquing should be already completed, but it doesn't hurt to recheck them.
The intake and exhaust have specific torque specs - and most all of the other fasteners also, but they just aren't as critical as the heads, rods and mains for instance.
Get yourself a 0 - 150 lb ft wrench and you'll be fine.
As they say, read the book for the instructions.
A few bits of advice: use new motor mounts (you don't want one of the old ones failing - I made that mistake only once).
And get a click-stop torque wrench, not the beam type with the pointer. Those are a beast to use. Forget about the Craftsman torque wrench - it has to be the worst tool Sears has. The Tool Guy had an all metal one for $40 that works great. Shop around.
Pay close attention to lubrication instructions while assembling. Don't rush - enjoy the adventure!Putting In A New Engine Block......?
