im going to rebuild the engine on my 1998 GSXR600 SRAD im still prity new to being a mechanic so i might have some help from a friend. what will i need i have gloves im going to order a full gasket kit and piston rings and bearings, what cleaner should i use and what oil also is there anything important i need to know. i have a Haynes repair manual for my bike i would just like to do this w/o wrecking the engineMotorcycle engine rebuild tips plz?
Check the bore for taper and roundness and have a machine shop bore oversize it it's out of tolerance. Don't buy pistons and rings until you know what size you need.
