Can i replace my clutch?!?

Okay i have a 1998 honda civic ex and i need to replace the clutch i have the general concept of the idea, i have have the haynes repair manual if that would help anyway. would i be able to replace my own clutch with out any car maintenance experience if just read up more on it and see if there is any youtube tutorials that would help me out?Can i replace my clutch?!?
You should be able to replace the clutch but get another opinion before you let anyone fix your car. I have a97 honda accord and i took my car to affordable tires which the name they were using was Brothers Auto Care they towed my car because it was running hot they said i needed a water pump a guage and thermostat. They didn't fix the car they brought my car back to me the same way they took it i took it back to them and they claimed it was fixed 2 weeks later and it still was running hot .So i took it to another shop the next day and it would not start ihad to tow my car to another shop and they said i need a head gasget and everything because the car was driven to long while running hot.
I agree with the general concensus, if you do decide to DIY then by all means go for it. the experience is valuable. haynes is a good manual and yes in your case it will most definitely help. just be careful and support the car properly, good luck in your endeavorCan i replace my clutch?!?
if you have not done one before, i would not do it. its not an easy job for a new person. i did mine a few years back but i have been in the garage for so very long.
I would not do it. Besides if you don't have the right tools, it's going to be a long day.

Can you remove the CV shaft? That's the first step. Can i replace my clutch?!?
u can do it if u have the rite tools for the job its a strait forward job if u no what ur doing but with out any experience i would not advise it but if u wont to give it ago then like i said its pretty much strait forward it would b advisable to have some 1 help u who knows a bit more about cars
You can, but there is the cost of tools either to purchase or rent. You will also need a safe place to do the job, that will not cause problems with land lords and the like.

I wouldn't recommend doing it on your own, if you could find a friend who's experienced with cars, and preferably has the tools needed. I won't lie, changing out a clutch is a giant pain in the ***.
