Check engine light help?

i have a 2002 honda civic ex (D17A2) and for some reason i just cant get the check engine light to go away, i took it to autozone and they tried erasing the code and its still there, i also tried disconnecting the battery for like 15 minutes and the light is still there. i even tried pulling the fuse for the ecu and nothing, can someone tell me how to make the light go away.

(i put an intake on the car and then the light came up, autozone told me that it was the IAT Sensor. will getting a new sensor take away the check engine light. i even bought a haynes auto repair manual, and it did not say how to take it offCheck engine light help?
First look in your repair book and it well show you how to test that IAE sensor before you think about replacing it. You may also look at the O2 sensor, do yourself a favor and get a good code reader if you are going to work on your own car, it can save a lot of time. Good luck.Check engine light help?
Maybe it means that something is wrong with the engine. I ignored the light on an Olds I had some years ago and the engine "digested itself" and turned into scrap in about 30 minutes in the middle of nowhere.

A dealer would be helpful if you can stand the cost.Check engine light help?
The light is on for a reason. . .it is setting a code to tell you that something is not quite right. If there is an Advance Auto in your area you should take it there. They will hook it up to their computer w/ no charge pull up the code and be able to tell you what is wrong. . .and then clear the code which will make the light go away. Ignoring it could lead you into worse trouble best to take care of whatever it is now.

Of course, if you want to continue to ignore it just put a piece of black tape over it :). . .just kidding.

Good luck and hopefully it will be something simple. My engine light comes on quite a bit because I am bad to not tighten the gas cap up enough after I put fuel in it.
