If there is no cgarette lighter relay in a 1990 honda accord (the haynes aftermarket book refers to one though

My repair manual SAYS there is a cigarette lighter relay. The wiring diagram in the back of the book lists a cigarette lighter relay but there is nothing on any fuse panel/box that lists a fuse for a cigarete lighter or AUX. HelpIf there is no cgarette lighter relay in a 1990 honda accord (the haynes aftermarket book refers to one though
For many years now Honda has made the cigarette lighter "Optional" instead of a standard option. So if your car does not have a cigarette lighter then I highly doubt that there is the circuit for it preinstalled.

Instead you should have a 12v/10amp Power Outlet with a 10amp (Red) fuse on the fuse panel under the steering wheel.

This is mainly for insurance purposes that the OE's decided to do this, not only Honda. This keeps accidental fires from starting inside the vehicle and also helps keep resale value up. Since smoke damage is very hard to remove from the interior and in most cases practically impossible.
