How do you (step-bystep)replace the alternator in a 1993 BMW 325i?

Took my recently purchased, older bimmer in after hard starts, dead batter, and squealing under the hood. It was no surprise to hear the alternator was bad. I have replaced half a dozen alternators over the years and it was almost always a fairly simple task and took less than an hour. I was not given a repair manual with the car, and the Haynes repair manual only shows pictures of what it looks like with very vague instructions on how to test and replace. Is anyone able to give me a more detailed, step-b-step directions on how to replace the alternator? Pictures/links would be greatly appreciated! I'm a girl who doesn't mind getting her hands dirty.. go figure! Thanks! How do you (step-bystep)replace the alternator in a 1993 BMW 325i?

Also consider buying the Robert Bentley manual for the car. It's much superior compared to the Haynes manual.
