Do you have the Rochester 2GC carburetor? On my 77 Impala with 305 V8 there are two vacuum ports with twin connections. The front connections on passenger side of carburetor are for the vacuum advance on the distributor and the (if you have it) egr valve which goes through a vacuum switch beside the thermostat housing first. On the back of carburetor near the right side these ports connect the choke pull off vacuum unit (short hose with a 90 degree bend no longer than 3 inches (length of hose), and the last port goes to the (if your car has it) the right side exhaust heat riser through a vacuum switch mounted in the thermostat housing.

To tell if your car has the heat riser lock for a bracket with a vacuum diaphragm mounted near and above the right back two cylinders. Most cars did not have this item. There is also a vacuum port below the carburetor facing the front left which goes to the PCV mounted on the left valve cover. There may be another one for the charcoal canaster near it. On the back of the intake manifold behind the carburetor is one that will go to the brake booster. And another that will go to the air cleaner thermovac door on the snorkel. Mine has the TH200 tranny which does not use a vacuum modulator. If your have a different tranny say the TH350 you will also connect it to the same front ports as the distributor. I hope this helps you.I need a 305 v8 vacuum hose daigram.?
Check for a decal on the hood.

Go to autozone.com, they may have a vacuum routing guide there.

Go to the public library and see if they have a book of vacuum routing charts.

Find a camero Sig or board, it should be the same.I need a 305 v8 vacuum hose daigram.?
If you have an automatic you need vacume for your trans, vacume for break booster, vacume for dist. for mechanical advance. Eliminate all of your emissons. If you'd really like to see that car run and preform a lot better put an eddlebrock intake and a 4 barrel carb.
