I have a 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier with about 100,000 miles on it. The time has come for scheduled maintenance and repairs. I am unable to find the specific information I need to repair/service my car. I have checked with Chiltons, Haynes, and all local auto stores as well as the local Library. All publications to date are up to and including a 2004 Cavalier but lack the specifics for my car. I have tried to cross reference the needed info with a 2005 Chevy Cobalt but found no results .
Yes, I understand that many of the older Cavaliers are very similar and there are only a few changes on certain model years.

Have you checked Amazon.com? They'll have the newest releases availible.
Otherwise, call your local chevy dealer's parts department and see if there were any major modifications between 2004 and 2005. If there isn't (and chances are there isn't) you can use the 2004 manual. In another year it will updated to include 2005.

Really now....go to the closest Chevrolet dealer to you and go into the parts department....they can order you a 2005 cavalier repair manual.....are you sure you checked properly with autozone or advance or napa......they all can get the Chiltons manual that covers everything from soup to nuts......if not in stock have them order it for you.....2005 Chevrolet Cavalier repair manuals?
